Information Technology Services (ITS)

The Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) is responsible for communication, computing, and technological services for students, faculty, and staff at Old Dominion University (ODU). The office is made up of Academic Technologies, Administrative Banner Services, Classroom and Learning Space Technologies, Geospatial and Visualization Systems, Help Desk/Desktop Support, Project Management, Research and Cloud Computing, Security/Identity and Access, Unified Communication and Collaboration, and Web and Mobile Solutions. The ITS offices are spread out throughout campus, but the main office buildings are the E.V. Williams Engineering and Computational Sciences Building, Monarch Hall, and Webb University Center.

History

The Office of Computing and Communications Services (OCCS) changed its name to Information Technology Services (ITS) in 2013. With the merger of ODU and Eastern State Medical School (EVMS) on July 1, 2024, the EVMS Information Technology Services transitioned to ODU’s ITS office.
