Women’s Tennis is one of the intercollegiate sports played at Old Dominion University (ODU). Matches are currently played at the Folkes-Stevens Indoor Tennis Center. The women’s tennis team is a member of the Sun Belt Conference.

History

While tennis has been an intramural sport at ODU as far back as the 1950s, women’s tennis became a varsity sport around 1977. From 1994 to 2012, the coaches for the men’s and women’s teams were combined into one coaching staff. The team won the Conference USA Championship in 2021 and 2022, and the Sun Belt Conference Championship in 2023.
