Interdisciplinary Schools
The Interdisciplinary Schools is the administrative unit that oversees the School of Cybersecurity, the School of Data Science, and the School of Supply Chain, Logistics, and Maritime Operations at Old Dominion University (ODU). The school is overseen by the Dean of the Interdisciplinary Schools.
Contents
History
The Interdisciplinary Schools was established in 2023 to develop innovative academic and research initiatives across all programs at ODU. In July 2026, Khan Iftekharuddin, Eminent Scholar and Batten Endowed Chair in machine learning in the Frank Batten College of Engineering and Technology, was named the inaugural Dean of Interdisciplinary Studies.
