Innovation Research Park (IRP)
The Innovation Research Park (IRP) at Old Dominion University (ODU) is a collaborative public-private partnership leveraging ODU’s intellectual capital with private-sector companies to pursue innovative approaches to research. The IRP consists of two 100,000 square-foot buildings in the University Village and houses the Office of Research, several private companies, and university research centers such as the Center for Coastal and Physical Oceanography (CCPO), Frank Reidy Research Center for Bioelectrics, and the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

History
The Innovation Research Park was dedicated in 2007 and is located along Monarch Way in the University Village between 41st Street and 43rd Street.
