The Brock Commons is an amphitheater space for live music and events at the intersection of 47th Street and Monarch Way in the University Village on the campus of Old Dominion University (ODU). The amphitheater is named after Joan and Macon Brock, co-founder and former CEO of Dollar Tree and a long time ODU benefactor.

History

Construction on the Brock Commons began in 2014 as part of the Arts in the Village project, located in the University Village. The amphitheater was dedicated in September 2015 along with the Barry Arts Building and the James A. Hixon Art Studio Building.
